If you are interested in participating in the upcoming VBV Legend 2016 event, make sure your vintage powerboat meets the specifications, below.
Vintage powerboats are only qualified to participate in VBV Legend 2016 if they are, or are serial models derived from, boats that have participated or enrolled in at least one offshore competition during the period in which the events of Viareggio–Bastia–Viareggio events, namely between 1962 and 1992. Additionally, they may also have manufactured between 1956 and 1962, having participated in offshore competitions, as that time period is generally regarded as the beginning of the sport of powerboating.
These vintage vessels do not necessarily need to be in working order, as their static exposure will also function with the parameters of this event. Attendance does not require participation in the two parades on the ground and/or sea, as this is to be determined by the owner of the prospective boat during registration. Additionally, there are no limits on the number of boats each owner may enter, but each boat will have to be entered separately.
