Dear Katrin,
After much anticipation, I just received my copy of the Magnum Opus.
It was definitely worth the wait.
I can’t wait to go through it cover to cover, front to back and back to front.
Naturally, I had to flip through it and see if my boat made the cut.
To my initial dismay, I found not a picture of my beloved Magnum, but of me and my friend Tom.
I quickly realized the brilliance of the editor’s selection.
I have thousands of pictures of my boat already:
In my computer, on my screensaver, on my office wall, on my bookshelf at home.
You get the point.
The picture of me and Tom, however, shows the pure joy I and all (almost) of my passengers feel when we are riding in the boat.
My caption for the photo in my album is “ YeeeHaaaa”
This year is my 20th anniversary of buying it as a stripped out hull.
My love of my boat has not waned in the slightest, in fact, it continues to grow.
I still find myself yelling “I love my Magnum” over the wind and engine noise when I’m blasting through a 2-3 foot chop.
I’m afraid I may never be a repeat buyer, but you are doing just fine without me.
Your product line is fantastic and like none other so I congratulate you on a job well done.
Thank you for persevering with the book.
It will have a place of honor on my bookshelf.
Well, I’m off to check the marine report for the weekend.
Fingers crossed.
Sincerely,
Bob Miller
