Magnum Marine’s ‘Magnum 51’ was first unveiled at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show 2014. Equipped with twin MTU 10V2000M94 producing an impressive 1,600 hp, the Magnum 51 represents the results of Magnum Marine’s quest to build a more environmentally friendly boat – especially in terms of fuel economy and speed. Built specially for a client in Miami, the blue Magnum 51 which is capable of hitting over 70 mph boat will use only 100gph thanks to its lightweight construction, common rail engines, the stiffer and lighter hull construction and the surface drives system.

Interiors of the new model include a large salon and galley, a master stateroom, head and crew cabin. Also known by the moniker “Bestia”(Beast) the boat is characterized by its tremendous speed, acceleration, and brute power. The Magnum 51 is a narrow beam, deep-vee, very heavy hull, generally equipped with twin Caterpillar or MTU diesels of between 1600 and 1925 hp each coupled to Arneson surface drives. The top speed can reach up to 74 mph.
